Some More About Patrick A. Howell


Currently, Mr. Howell is the Chairman of Global Capital Network or GCN.  Since 2010, He has been the Executive Director for the San Diego Investment Conference (SDIC)which he founded.   SDIC has worked with nearly 250 companies and in nearly 17 cities with nearly 100 events nationally and worldwide to locate nearly$5B in prospective funding opportunities  

Financier and Volunteer

Patrick A. Howell is a financial services professional with nearly 25 years of experience from Market Street, San Francisco to Southern California to Wall Street in global and Fortune 500 companies as Wells Fargo, BNP Paribus, RR Donnelley Financial, Newport Capital Consultants, Africa Connects International and Fleet Boston Financial in capacities as varied as entrepreneur, branch manager, vice president business banker and executive vice president investment banker. 

His companies have been featured on local, regional and national radio and television shows as the Big Biz Show and Stock News Now.

Mr. Howell has served as a volunteer or board member with the 100 Black Men of Orange County, Orange County Young Executive's Group and Word of Money in New York City. 


Patrick's early work was published in UC Berkeley’s African American Literary Journal and the Quarterly Black Book Review.  He is completing work on a coming-of-age novel, "Quarter ‘til Judgment Day" and non-fiction book of works tentatively titled, "No Nonsense Networking" and "Getting Deals Done". His blogs and essays have been published by various cultural and financial publications. 

He has been quoted as a culturalist by NBCBLK and; and other e-zines as XO Jane, and; he has been noted as a business leader and financier on the cover of Opportunist Magazine, an industry magazine. 

His short stories, essays and poems have also been published with journals and e-zines including the Northridge Reveiw, Mandala Journal, Tishman Review, Killens Review and the Xavier Review

Mr. Howell's poetry chapbooks "Resistance, Renaissance, Revolution and Evolution" and "Blue Ink Trees by the Bay" were published by Moria Publishing's LocoFo Chapbooks in 2017. His 'book of family' is tentatively titled, "A Love Supreme"; and book of poetry, "Yes, We Be", (Jacar Press) in 2018.
